The turmeric adds not only the color but a lot of tasty nutritional perks. This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately, otherwise the banana will oxidize and change that lovely color.
Yellow Smoothie
Makes: 1 adult serving or 2 kids servings
Ingredients:
1/4 cup diced yellow squash
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1 banana
1/4 cup coconut milk
Make It:
In a high-powered blender, puree all ingredients until smooth. Serve room temperature or chilled.
