Here’s a fun way to get in those servings of fruits and veggies on the go. Use what you have leftover in the fridge, sort it by color, and let the kiddos choose amongst all the healthy options.
Rainbow Fruit and Veggie Tray
Grapes (slice in half for children under 4 years of age)
Baby Carrots (slice in half for children under 4 years of age)
Cherry/grape tomatoes (slice in half for children under 4 years of age) *this also helps avoid the mess of a squirting tomato bite
Bell pepper slices (these can be yellow, orange or green)
Mandarin Orange Slices
These pack wonderfully as shown in silicone cupcake holders inside a Tupperware dish. You can also pack a variety of fruits and veggies inside a bento lunchbox OR pack them in an emptied pill container (which makes it fun as each compartment has its own lid).
